Raymarine SeaTalk to RS232 Bridge. Enables PC's running RayTech to communicate directly with the SeaTalk Bus
Developed by Raymarine, SeaTalk is a communication protocol and interconnection method for networking Raymarine’s family of Autopilots, Radars, Instruments, Fishfinders and GPS.
SeaTalk compatible devices simply “daisy-chain” together on what is commonly referred to as the SeaTalk Bus. Once on the SeaTalk Bus each device “listens” and “talks” simultaneously. RayTech software joins the bus via the optional PC to SeaTalk interface. Once on the bus RayTech can display information like GPS and instrument data and transmit information like cross track error and waypoint data to an autopilot or Radar. RayTech is also fully NMEA 0183 compatible and supports multiple COMM port channels making connection to other brands of marine electronics easy.
