Built to endure the most extreme operating conditions, the MSD900 is a revolutionary 3-layer modular suit system that is the result of Mustang Survival's ongoing commitment to research and development. Not only does it symbolize an evolution in cold-climate anti-exposure work suits - it redefines it. This breakthrough in advanced hypothermia protection features Mustang Survival's Breathable Barrier Technology (BBT™), providing moisture management and heat regulation in a waterproof modular system. One of Mustang's most versatile and popular suits, designed for serious users, like the Coast Guard, for daily operational duties and industrial marine activities.

Three Layer System:
1st Layer - Thermal Layer
This layer uses ultra-soft, polyvinylchloride (PVC) closed-cell Comfort Zone™ foam to provide exceptional thermal protection and inherent buoyancy. It is also designed with Hydro-Vantage™ quilted wicking fabric, which pulls moisture away from the body, ensuring a dry, comfortable fit.
2nd Layer - Immersion Module
This second layer of protection provides a waterproof barrier. Using GORE-TEX Best Defense® fabric provides a waterproof, windproof, breathable layer which reduces heat stress and fatigue, while maximizing thermal and immersion protection during long operations. This layer also has Closed Comfort System (CCM™) neoprene wrist seals and an adjustable neck seal for improved comfort and fit.
3rd Layer - Outer Shell
Using durable 210 Denier Polyurethane-coated Nylon, the shell is designed to protect the inner layers against debris and other abrasive materials. Additional features include Advanced Ventilation Technology (AVT™) venting design, which promotes heat and moisture regulation, and reinforced seat and knee panels using 500 Denier Cordura® Nylon to maximize work suit longevity. An inflatable pillow adds head support and improved freeboard, while SOLAS/IMO reflective tape provides high visibility.
